Letter to the Editor... bla bla bla

Today I sent a letter to the editor. I have given this letter much thought. I want to be for something. I want to know what I am wanting and not live in resistance to what I do not want.

I sent it off as an action to a constant prayer.... I want to live in a noble country. I just do. It is my preference. When Unhoyle becomes noble I will leave North Hypothetical and return.

To tell the truth, my letter bores me a bit. It says Pearl Harbor had seven investigations ordered by the president and we have hardly one piece of fiction. It has in it the tone of bla bla bla. I invite you to not read it if you want.

Note to Queen Self: Learn or at least attempt to write letters that are not bla bla bla. Zippy little letters, like commercials, or poems, or the writing on the wall.... anything except bla bla.

This is my letter:
Remembering Pearl Harbor and Wondering about 9-11

On Dec 7, 1941 the Navy of the United States was attacked. On that very day the President of the United States ordered the first report, The Knox Investigation. This is followed by a commission report with the sub title, ‘Report of the commission appointed by the President of the United States to Investigate and report the facts relating to the attack made by the Japanese Armed Forces upon Pearl Harbor in the territory of Hawaii on December, 7th, 1941. There was then The Roberts Commission, the Hart Investigation, The Army Pearl Harbor Board, The Navy Court of Inquiry, The Clarke Investigation, The Hewitt Inquiry and The Joint Congressional Committee in 1946. Seven official investigations and inquiries were ordered by the President over five years.

After 9-11 the grief stricken families had to petition and pressure the president to investigate an attack on American soil.

Do you remember the presidents attitude?
(CBS) President Bush took a few minutes during his trip to Europe Thursday to voice his opposition to establishing a special commission to probe how the government dealt with terror warnings before Sept. 11.
(CNN) -- President Bush personally asked Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle Tuesday to limit the congressional investigation into the events of September 11, congressional and White House sources told CNN.
(CNN) Kissinger's appointment was criticized by some who said he was too close to powerful national and international figures to be independent. In an editorial published November 29, The New York Times suggested the White House chose him "to contain an investigation it has long opposed."

We can not afford to forget Pearl Harbor or the manner in which it was investigated. Seven official reports over five years ordered by the president.

We were a country with the courage to investigate, we were seen as victorious in World War II. We were.

Today we are not presented with answers to our questions and in the opinion of the Baker Report (and over 60% of the American people) we are in a war that holds no victory for us.

We need to remember Pearl Harbor. We need to remember the seven reports our president ordered during those days and continue to ask our current president to do the same.
It takes emotional courage to remember and to continue to seek answers.
To not seek, to not ask, is to forget.

A Little Sudden Sadness

North Hypothetical is situated off the ground. One story up. Above the reality of some other people.

This morning two little girls were getting dropped off to spend their 50% time with their dad, a citizen of the downstairs realm. The Queen likes these girls. They come up and touch the Queens things and worry the Queens dogs. They eat an apple or watch a movie and ask questions the Queen never thought of.

Maggie who is three now has the most amazing blue eyes. When the Queen has had too serious of a day or forgotten something with no name Maggie's little eyes makes the Queen feel better.

This morning the Queen woke up to sharp dagger words from the mom thrown at the dad. And the dad said something back that was not, "Let's talk about this later." And so the mom said more dissatisfaction with the word 'asshole' tucked in there. And the dad said something back that was not, "Let's talk about this later". And Maggie started to cry. She cried loud.

Maggie, as usual was right.

The Queen was not awake and yet was suddenly dressed and out the door. The Queen went to the front yard and picked up the children's things that had gotten thrown around. The dad is on crutches and can not maneuver so well. He had Maggie in his arms. The mother drove away because sometimes when you realize someone else is there unwise behavior becomes embarrassing.

The Queen put the children's things in the hallway. The dad and Maggie came in, the older sister was in her room touching her things and the dad said, "We are going to get a Christmas tree today."

***** The Queen may have failed at minding her own business. She came upstairs and sat on the couch and thought about summer when the girls played in their swimming pool and all the happy sounds came up. The Queen fixed herself some coffee. And then wrote this and wondered, "Why am I writing in the third person?"

Going on a Thought Diet

The Queen has been advised that she is partaking in Unusable Distractions to a degree that is not beneficial to the Queendom. Upon waking she knew, she could feel it, that her Queendom had not been pampered and honored. It is in the pampering that a Queendom shines.

The Department of Procrastination had a meeting and produced a report saying they did not find any serious signs of procrastination but rather distraction. It seems talk radio, a local unfactual editorial, and a general swarming hive of thoughts of others, those ourside of the Queendom, and the ever present misdimener of being called, "Not minding your own business" have distracted the Queen.

The Queen will therefore go on a thought diet. She will think of her own concerns, not dabble in thoughts she is not ready to take action on. She will stay in the moment to the degree to which she is able.

Then she can mind the business beyond her own borders.

Voting NO on O'Realy

I have cancelled my subscription to our cable company.

It was not easy.

I called said I would like to cancel and they transferred my call to the "persuader", a sweet sounding woman who asked, why I would be doing such a thing.

" I can not let any of my dollars support or appear to endorse Bill O'Raley ."

"Oh", she said, "But there is so much more to Suddenlink than his show. What about Law and Order?"

"Well, no, I really don't like it. It is violent and CSI is worse. And they are all the same."

"Well what do you like?"

"I like Amy Goodman on Democracy Now! and Jon Steward, but Amy I can get on the radio and Jon I am willing to sacrifice."

"Well what about trading spaces?" she asked.

"Oh, yes, the show of moving furniture around. No I have a couch on wheels I can move when the furniture arranging urge hits."

"But what will you do? What will you do without television?." Her voice wrapped around me in concern. I pictured those dark long nights, no senseless chatter in the back ground as I prepared dinner, no clean men in suits telling me exactly what happened in the world today. No movie star news about people I do not know...... I snap out of it.

I take a deep breath, I am choosing the Unknown....... Life without cable.

"I am going to use rabbit ears" I told her. I just want her to know that I am going to be ok.

"Rabbit ears? oh, an antenna? "

"Yes, an antenna. But my point is that as long as you have a lying fear monger on your menu I have to leave." And then I thought I had a very good question. "Would you go to a Klan meeting?" I asked her.

"What!?" she said.

She is a nice woman and NO! she would never go to a Klan meeting. And why on earth would I even ask her that! What is wrong with 'trying to cancel cable' me?

"A Klan meeting where people were hateful and inspired to harm to others. A Klan meeting. That is how I see Mr. O'Riiley. And in the way that I would not buy sheets or beer or rope for those neighbor hating bedding wearing people. I will not give dollars to a cable company that supports other neighbor harming people."

I felt really good at this point of our conversation. I even felt I had explained it to myself better than I had ever done in the past. I felt clear and concise.

"But don't you love the Nature Channel?"

"No, the elephant noises scare my dog."

I want to end the conversation. I tell her I think she is wonderful at her job. She has such an amazing and soothing voice. I tell her that her concern for me out alone in the world of No Cable is touching and that when they eject the unfactful Mr. O'Relee. I might be back. Especially if they change Fox News into a cartoon form. Yes, then they might receive my support, my dollars.

"Can I consider myself cancelled?" I ask.

"Yes," she said. "Of course you may. " I think she may be getting tired of me too. Maybe she is hungry and wants to go to lunch soon. Maybe she is thinking about something she ordered and wondering if UPS will leave it on her porch. Maybe her husband is on a trip and will return tonight and they will be happy to see each other. Maybe she is going to see her sister soon. I don't know. But she is done offering me a world of reruns. She did her job pretty good.

I am Queen! I vote NO! No OhReally!

Tonight I Remembered

I watched a movie, 9-11 Press for Truth ( w ww.911pressfortruth.com ). I wish to make sure for myself that I do not forget the governments response. With everything else going on an almost apathetic dust settles over my own memories and concerns, 'oh yea, the commisions report was a joke, and bla bla on the list of unanswered questions'.

I want this to stay important to me. I want it to be clear. It is not a past event.

I imagine there are others who would appreciate a new investigation into what occurred that day and why and how and who.

Too much untruth. Way too much. I strongly suspect lying and cheating from the land of Unhoyle.

I imagine there is something I could do, but I do not exactly know what it is yet. I have done small things. Small, small things. I am waiting. I am imagining truth.

Committee of The New Day

Within my Queendom this committee meets on each occurrence of the event it was named after.

Some days I wake up while it is still dark. Light will at some point occur on the roof tops and then sort of ease down and spread around. Other days the light is already situated like when you to meet a friend in a coffee shop and they are already there with their coffee and their newspaper is open and turned to a certain page. They are situated.

The Committee for the New Day has noted the following: No extreme Emergencies.
Attention needs to be paid to finance, maintence, stewardship,

What might I request of this day? Of today I request happy and responsible placement of dollars. I would like some placed in my mail box, some in my checking account, a few in the hands of a local coffee shop, and probably 10 in the hands of the local vet for cutting the dogs nails.

Dollars out there flying around like birds. Some people are tracking them. There is a site called Where's George that tracks the flight of dollars

A project I worked on is now complete and of this day I could request that it's reward come in. ( that would be dollars ) I do use the dollars of the Land of Unhoyle. I do not have enough citizens to create my own currancy. I don't wash them or anything. I try to direct them. I am not sure my vote is correctly counted but I do know that my dollars are. Dollars are always counted. They are my most consistant vote.

As Queen I must be aware of who I am supporting. As Queen I am responsible for where my dollars go.

Department of Imagination

My first official pronouncement as Queen was to create the Department of Imagination. This allowed me to establish, at least in my imagination, my own country.

This will keep me safe. In my old country, which I refer to for now as Unhoyle, much much much harm was done, they say, due to failure of imagination. It is my hypothesis that with imagination and common sense my home (land?) will be safe. Further thought may be required as while I am above the actual land, I do have some plants so there is soil within my Queendom. So do I have a homeland or not?

For now I will just say 'home' or Queendom. Homeland is rather over used these days. The polite thing to do may be to let it rest for a decade or eight.

I also imagine I have a law, and in fact a tradition, that does not allow dishing out too much aggravation to my neighboring realms.

Where My Country Is

Well, I think it best to start my Queendom right on the inside of my front door. I will treat the porch as tidal lands. the outside of the door will be the high tide mark, I probably will not allow international fishing within the first twelve steps. In actuality this has not come up yet.
My Queendom does not touch the ground. It is up. It is above the country I used to live in. When I climb the stairs I raise above that whole 'sea to shining sea' That is what I imagine.

.

North Hypothetical ..... It is a Country

I have decided to create my own Queendom. There are two, no three reasons for this decission.

The first is I wish to live in a country that creates no harm. I realize I am not that harmless, I am not without fault so let me rephrase. I wish to live in a country that intends to cause as little harm as possible, a country that is not mean and does not bully.

The second reason for this is if I create my own Queendom than I can be Queen. As Queen I am reminded daily of the importance of my decissions. I stay reminded of my responsibilites and my favorite lie, the lie that says what one person does is of little matter, becomes vapor under the reminder of my title. I am Queen, what I do matters for I have a Queendom, an estate, my home. I have a treasury, my dollars.

And third, it amuses me.
